Spring Styling with Frankie x Oasis

AD - Gifted

Oasis has always had a special place in my heart as one of my favourite brands, so when they asked me if I wanted to a preview of the newest collaboration with Frankie Bridge, I was excited to see what this collection was all about. I picked two pieces from the collaboration and a couple of accessories to style for a day date outfit. Unfortunately, one of the pieces wasn't ready to send yet and is still in the post so I decided to style what I had ready for launch day today!

Taking a look at the new Frankie x Oasis collection, I absolutely love the colour scheme and how versatile the pieces are. They look easy to layer and I love the silhouttes available. Right now, I love a fitted top with a pair of flowy trousers or midi-skirt or a pair of skinny jeans with a looser fitted but still flattering top.

Today, I've styled the boxy cardigan as a top with a pair of black jeans and then a pair of cute black heels and a neutral bag for a pop of colour. An outfit I think that would be great this spring for a day out when it gets a little warmer whether it's for a date, a shopping trip or dinner. An outfit I feel is as versatile as the pieces themselves!

Honestly, I love this look. I love this colour combination and I love this cardigan as a top (but if you're prone to the cold put something on underneath!) The material for the cardigan is so cosy and feels effortlessly stylish. I love how nice it looks with a simple pair of black jeans and a pair of heels.
For me, cardigans are essential in a wardrobe. I always need one to layer over dresses and outfits especially when it's getting warmer and a coat is too much. I'm always cold too so I need cardigans in my life. I think this would look great with the camo textured mini skirt which I was originally going to style this with. Frankie styled it that way and to be honest I totally wanted to copy her!

The shoes are a perfect addition to this outfit to turn it from a casual everyday look to a 'day out' kind of look. I love that a pair of heels can do that much to a look. As someone with quite big feet I used to hate pointed toes, but I love them these days and feel like they give this look a classy feel. I rolled up my jeans at the bottom too to showcase the ankle strap and make the shoes a feature in this look.

A good bag can make an outfit that much better and I think this bag does just that. Without a pinky-neutral bag like this one, I feel this look would be a little dark but a bag like this adds a delicate touch and a little pop of colour to this look. Popping a little colour doesn't always mean something bright and can always be something just a little lighter... or darker even! I'm obsessed with the idea of cross body bags too thanks to Maria! She's given me the cross-body buzz and I'm living for bags like this!

The Frankie x Oasis collaboration is available online now and has some amazing pieces. I'm in love with the balloon sleeve blouse, utility skirt and ditsy floral shirt. I'll definitely be treating myself to them as soon as I can! What are you favourites from the collection?

P.S. Oasis have also given me a code for you guys to get free delivery on your Oasis shop.
The code is: CATARINADEL
Enjoy! x
