My name is Catarina (but you can call me Cat). I'm a 30-year-old teacher living in Hertfordshire and when I'm not busy teaching little ones, I like to gaming on my PC or Switch, playing with make-up and getting creative. I started blogging back in May 2010 and 10 years on (somehow), I'm still blogging here at What Cat Says!
What Cat Says is a home and lifestyle blog set to inspire others to live and look stylish for less. My blog is somewhere you can go to, to be inspired, find and style your home and see how I dress for work and the weekend whilst still maintaining my own style on a budget.
How did What Cat Says come to be the home and lifestyle blog it is today?
My blog began as an online diary back in 2010. Since then, What Cat Says has dabbled into many areas of blogging having been self-labelled as a fashion blog, beauty blog and lifestyle blog. But after 10 years of blogging, my blog has developed into the home and lifestyle blog it is today.
A passion of mine has been always been fashion and something I've been blogging about on and off since day one. I've experimented with so many styles (which are clear through my years blogging) but I feel like now, more than ever, I have a distinct style which I plan on sharing here more often as I begin to reinvent my wardrobe.
A new passion of mine is interior designs and home decor. Since buying my first home back in July 2018, I've discovered the world of interior design, decor and homewares and began to blog about my journey as a homeowner and how I styled my first home. Now, almost two years on, I'm in the process of moving again and am extremely excited about decorating our new home.
