What Cat Wore | Poppies

I'm a new lover of Zara and this is my latest purchase from their amazing sale this summer. At £17.99 it's a higher price than I'd like to pay for something in the sale but I couldn't pass it up since I fell for it so quickly. The light poppy print is gorgeous and draped back with that tie up is a beautiful detail that makes a change from the typical front detailing.
I wore my new top with my trusty Topshop jeggings. Though they're super comfy to wear, they don't look too casual, keeping this outfit in the smart/casual category. I wasn't feeling any heels when I wore this so I stuck with a pair of light flats. I'm glad though because we ended up parking a long way up a steep hill for mine & John's mid-week date night.
We ended up in lovely Italian called Va Pensiero and shared a wheel of deep fried Mozzarella and ate a heaping plate of pasta each. There was so much on my plate I couldn't finish, but it didn't mean I couldn't order myself a Creme Brulee for afters - I always leave room for afters! We'd never been there before but it was so good we want to go again! I love discovering new restaurants, it changes it up from your usual chains as good as they may be. Let me know if there's any good ones in the Hertfordshire area I should try!
