November '17

I seriously don't know where November has gone. I feel like it's disappeared before my very eyes and here we are: about to start - sorry, attempt Blogmas and get really into the Christmas spirit. This year I'm excited but first, let's talk about November. Because though it was quick, I did a couple of things that I'd like to share with you.

Right at the beginning of the month, I had my aunt over from France. She comes over sometimes and it's always so nice to have her here. She's also my godmother so I'm really close to her I didn't get to hang out with her much because I was so busy already that weekend, I had a great time with her when we were together and I know she had a nice time here seeing her sisters (one being my mum) and her brother.

That weekend I also attended Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy. It's a concert I've attended twice before and always in the first week of November. I absolutely love the concert and it's different every time. This time we were introduced to new music - or in fact, old music that they'd finally orchestrated. I blogged about this event once before. (*Cringing at the way I used to write... It's kind of still like that... Just less bold, underlining and striking through!* ) Anyway, it was amazing. I dressed up for it, even though we didn't have to, it was nice to.

On another weekend, John and I visited a local Christmas Fair with my brother and his girlfriend. I don't think I anticipated how busy it was going to be until I saw a sea of cars parked on the fields near the venue. It was crazy! There were lots of things at the fair though, whether it was gifts for Christmas, food for Christmas or Christmas decorations. There was a lot but we didn't end up buying anything. It was so busy you could barely move in the marquee and there wasn't anything that really stood out to me too much personally. I did although enjoy meeting the reindeer Filomena and Latte. They were cute.

Just last week I had one more big thing for November and it was yet another amazing event with Pandora. I'm saving telling you all about it until Blogmas, but I just have to say, it was the most beautiful event I've ever been to! The snow... it was everywhere! And the Christmas collection is gorgeous too. I'm going to leave it there, but watch out for that post because I'll tell you all about the crafty things I got up to whilst I was there.

So that was my November in a nutshell. I didn't think I did a lot but actually, I got quite a lot done. I did also start my Christmas shopping so I don't feel any pressure to get it done yet. Also, I've been ill over the past week and a half so I've been doing my best to relax and rest where possible, especially with my little Dolly dog who's been extra good at cuddling this month.

I'm so ready for December though. I'm SO excited. Maybe too excited? And I will be attempting Blogmas so you'll be seeing something every day from me over the next 25 days! What are you excited about this December? It's got to be my birthday and Christmas for me! I'm feeling it's going to be a good one this year.
