Rose Parade Ban.Do Agenda

As you might be able to tell, I've started the academic year a fresh not only with a new bullet journal but also with a new ban.do agenda. I've been using my ban.do agenda for a year now and I loved it so much, I wanted another one to start off this year. This year I've picked the Rose Parade design and I'd like to show you what's inside this gorgeous bold, rose-printed book of beautiful for my future planning and life organising.

Out of all the designs, I really wanted something bold but not too bold, you know? I looked at every design they had for this year, but every time I looked I was always drawn to the Rose Parade design, so, that it what I went for. I love the bright blue background and the big, pink roses and that pretty, gold elastic to keep it safely closed really makes this agenda quite unique. It's simple, bold and beautiful - just the way I like things!

One of my favourite things about the ban.do agendas is the stickers inside. I turn into a kid when I see these! I love the selection this year and I'm determined to use them all this time. I've also pulled out the ones from my last agenda to use in this one and kept them in the pocket at the back! At the moment I'm a big fan of the flamingo and the roller skates.

Some of the first few pages are these here: a yearly overview of 2018 and 2019 and also a two-page spread where you can put reasons to party for each month. I think these are nice pages but personally for me, I don't think I'm going to find them useful. I work through my plans monthly and don't plan ahead enough to warrant the usefulness of these pages but for those who like to plan things ahead, these could be of use to them more than me.

Next up in the agenda are the months. In this agenda there are 18 of them beginning with August 2017 and ending with December 2018. I like that they start just before the academic year but I find the last few months useless because they only release them once yearly. I realised that I wouldn't use August through December on my old agenda when they didn't release any new ones at the beginning of the year. I find this a bit of a flaw but I love the agendas enough to look past them for now. Hopefully they'll begin to release 12 month ones instead so I don't feel like I'm wasting paper when I buy my next one.

Finally, we have the back of the agenda. The back cover homes a little secret pocket to keep loose papers and I found this useful in my last agenda. I kept important bits of information there and at the moment, I'm keeping a blogging business card and the remaining stickers from my old agenda here too. I know some people don't ever use these but it was surprisingly useful last year, I like them.

What are your thoughts on the ban.do agendas? Personally, I love them and find the price point quite reasonable considering it's a US brand that have concessions selling their products here. I settled for a ban.do agenda this year because I couldn't handle the idea of spending just a little more on a Kate Spade one I wasn't 100% sure on. I hadn't seen one before and there weren't many pictures of the contents online so I was skeptical to buy one. I kept to what I know and now I'm feeling very happy about it because I adore my new agenda. It's definitely on the more expensive side of diaries and agendas but for me, it's an investment worth making because I use it everyday and it does help keep me very organised.

Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments and if you would ever buy a ban.do agenda for yourself!
