It's been a long while since my last outfit post but I think it's about time to get back into them after my last post where I talked about getting fit and improving my self-confidence. Posting this is a step towards that new direction. But today, I'm here to talk about and share one of my new tees from Animal Hearted, an US clothing brand with a range of awesome tees, sweaters and gifts for all animal lovers. They've got clothing and gifts for all animals from cats and dogs to lizards and frogs! What I love about them most is that 25% of proceeds go towards animal rescues and sanctuaries.

I absolutely love animals and I am a dog lover at heart but when I saw this tee, I couldn't help but want it. I'm a sucker for puns and any pun that might relate to my feline name is even better. In fact, I told my little brother today to read my top in the middle of an argument and he just laughed, so it worked as planned! I got it in a light pink too because it's a colour missing in my wardrobe, I want more pink so it made sense.
Another awesome thing about Animal Hearted is that they have their tees in a range of colours to suit your style and a range of shirt styles too so if you don't like the t-shirt style, you can always have it as a vest or a sweater. I went for the fitted tee because I know I'm going to love this style even more later on when I start toning up the tummy. I also have another tee I will be sharing at the weekend that is more dog related so wait up for that because it's a good tee and reflects my dog loving personality well!

Now please don't judge me for my awful mix of denim colours. If I had a choice I would have worn it with my lovely Mom jeans which match my jacket much better but if you read my last post you'll know that all but two pairs of jeans don't fit me at the moment. But I'm pretty pleased with myself for finding this jacket hidden in my sisters wardrobe though it's mine. I miss it and so glad to have it back in time to add to my spring wardrobe.

I think this outfit as a whole is quite cute. It takes me back to my teenage days too where I would always wear one of my 20 pairs of jeans, a graphic tee and pumps. It's a style I still enjoy to this day and would like to wear more often but maybe with more of a mature sophisticated style. I don't know how but I could try something new. I think next time I'd love to wear this with the Mom jeans as mentioned, the jacket still with a pair of chunky boots for a fun date look.
How would you style this tee for yourself?
