March Through Instagram

Another month gone and a good one too. March has bought me so much and has highlighted the best day of the year so far and probably one to stay in the top 5 at least by December. This month I've had family over, spring has arrived, updates in my studies and cute little ducklings. I've enjoyed a bunch of stuff and it's about that time I tell you all about it.

Right at the beginning of March it was my aunt's 50th birthday and instead of having the kerfuffle of us all flying out to Portugal or France - everyone flew out to England and stayed with our family to celebrate the occasion since technically most of the family are over here. I had my cousins here, my aunt and uncles of course and their friends. This gave me the opportunity to parade London like a tourist, enjoy a little party up with the family Portuguese-style and eat in places I haven't been to in ages just to show off what we got here in England. We went to Tinseltown, Shaketastic, Hollywood Bowl's Arcade and of course all the best tourist places in London like the traditional sightings, M&Ms World (which was new to me too) and Camden Town.

After a fun-filled weekend to start the month off it didn't seem like much else could top it until John and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Newbury for a weekend away together. It was so lovely to be able to have a no-work-weekend, visit a new place and spend some lovely time together. It was so nice and we visited a donkey sanctuary, The Living Rainforest (which I'm yet to post my photography from) and even took a drive up to Bicester Village which is kinda boring when a sale isn't on.

At work we had cute ducklings. I was in a placement for the majority of the month so I was experiencing all new things and having an awesome time at it. And with spring showing up I couldn't be feeling happier. I love spring and everything it brings so I was happy to see the blossom, pansies, tulips and daffodils make their way into our gardens.

Apart from those two awesome parts of the month, I got a huge piece of news. The biggest piece of news. If you follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat then you might know but if not - I got a job beginning September! All the hard work is paying off and I can't wait to get started. All I've got to do is smash all my studies and work out of the park for the next two months and my dream job is mine. Graduation here I come!

So that's March for me. This April I'm looking forward to two weeks off work, a trip to Brighton with John at the end of this week, Easter and getting things in order - spring cleaning and all that you know? It's gonna be a good one. I can tell! How has the month of March been for you?
