What Cat Wore | Blossom Boiler Suit

Say hello to my new favourite jumpsuit. I absolutely love jumpsuits. They're comfortable, usually very versatile and for me, I feel really confident and relaxed in one. I bought this silky navy beaut to wear to the Go Glam Gala a couple of weeks ago and had the best time with my blogging besties. Think dancing, drinks and networking... But that's for another post. Let me tell you more about this jumpsuit.

As I mentioned before, I wore this jumpsuit to the Go Glam Gala a couple of weeks ago and this jumpsuit just so happened to arrive in the post on the day saving my outfit for the night. I'd originally ordered a jumpsuit off of Boohoo but unfortunately it was lost in the post so I had to get something else last minute and found myself on Missguided clicking to buy this embroidered jumpsuit.

What I loved about this jumpsuit, apart from the gorgeous design, the silky fabric and boiler-suit style was how confident I felt it in. Certainly more confident than I would be in any dress right now. I really wasn't loving the idea of wearing a dress and I certainly didn't picture myself wearing this. But now I have a new favourite jumpsuit that is a statement piece in itself but can also be very versatile, casual and smart all at once.

Now, it was this day that I wished I had nude court shoes, heels, anything! I never really liked the nude shoe and today was the day I needed and wanted a pair. Black wasn't going to do and with my makeup and accessories complimenting and accentuating the colours in my jumpsuit well, I needed a pair of shoes that would also help do that so I ended up going with my trust silver glittered heels. It was a decision that led me to taking every pair of shoes I own out of my wardrobe but I settled for these as the details on my belt were silver, so it was the pair that made the most sense.

Overall, though not the most glamorous gal in the bunch because there were some amazing bloggers in the most beautiful dresses and outfits but I think I did well for a student on a budget?
I had the most fun time with Tanya, Ana and Xtine anyway! It was just lovely to catch up and attend one of Scarlett's amazing blogger events too. I'll save all the deets of the event for a different day anyway.

I can't believe January in nearly over! I hope 2017 has been treating you well so far ♥
