What I Got For My Birthday

 

A week ago today it was my 27th birthday. It feels like it was ages ago already but with it falling in the busiest week of the year it passes by so quickly! Though I was working, I had the loveliest day. I had quite a fun day at work actually and in the evening I went out for dinner to TGI Friday's!

I did also get some really lovely things for my birthday too so of course it's time for the annual birthday haul!

I'm going to start off with my favourite present first which are these grey ankle boots from Clarks which are so beautiful, so comfortable and so smart too. I absolutely love them and have already worn them for the majority of my week thanks to their versatility! John bought these for me and I've got to say he's always been great with fashion gifts because he's got a good sense of style, knows what suits me well and what I'll like too. I've got a keeper of a boyfriend. Just wait and see the outfit he bought me for Christmas soon!

 

 

Another present from John was these super cute Pokémon pyjamas! They're so adorable and I remember showing these to John a while back when I saw these on Primark's Snapchat story one day. John also bought me Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel because he knows how much I love it and a Bluetooth car speaker so that I don't have to have my phone jiggling in the cup holder, on loud speaker being unable to hear whoever is on the phone and vice versa. I was so excited about this it was in my car by the end of the day which is why it isn't in any of these photos! Thank you for all my presents again John ♥!

 

 

From my beautiful bestie Ana, I got this gorgeous floral printed jumpsuit you'll see on the blog very soon. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat you might have seen me wearing this yesterday for Boxing Day and it was so comfortable and easy to wear! I love the cropped length too which changes it up from my usual look. It works well with the grey boots too. I love a good floral print so I was really looking forward to wearing this. Thank you Ana ♥

From my brothers and my sister I got the prettiest feather pendant, a really pretty pen (since all my other pretty pens ran out) and some of the Gabriella x Primark stationery collection as well as some Sharpie highlighters! I've already worn the pendant a few times (it goes really well with a white tee and jeans) and I can't wait to get my new stationery into good use too. I adore a good bit of stationery and I'm a fan of Gabriella's collabs with Primark too so I was pleasantly surprised to see this when I unwrapped it! :) Thanks brothers and sister! ♥

Last but definitely not least is probably my other equally favourite present from my mum. Last year I told my mum that I loved Urban Decay and she bought me the Vice 4 palette. This year she's only gone and got me the Full Spectrum palette! I absolutely adore this palette, as you can see it's already been used a little bit but I just couldn't wait until I took photos of it to use it. I've already created a red smoky eye as well as the blue and purple one too and now I'm looking to create some more daring and colourful looks with this palette. I'm so excited about these colours and so glad I have a new palette to play with! Thanks mum! ♥

I love the gifts I received this year and they're all so beautiful and/or useful. Thank you again to everyone who gave me a gift and I hope you guys liked taking a peek into what I received this year. Look out for my Christmas haul too coming along soon!
