It is that time of year again where all I do is post hauls for Birthday/Christmas/Boxing Day and yes, this year I have all three! You may have seen that I already posted the What I Got For My Birthday post a few days ago, but now it's time to share what I got for Christmas. I love reading these posts because I'm a self confessed nosy parker and love seeing what people have been given. I secretly love showing people too because I feel so lucky for what I've been given, so here we are! Enjoy.
So I'll start by showing you some of the cosy gifts I received starting with this mason jar gift set I got as my Secret Santa gift. I LOVE mason jars and think this one is totally adorable, especially with all the hot chocolate making things inside. I'm yet to try it but it'll probably be best enjoyed in my new Thumper pyjamas from my brother and my new duvet set my parents got me.
Also from my parents is this cute lilac pyjama shirt I would quite confidently wear as a regular dress! I love it, and can't wait to get into it when the weather warms up. I've got a shortage in socks at the moment too so I was happy to see this cute set of 4 floral pairs under the tree.
Moving onto toiletries, I'm probably set up for a whole year with the amount of shower gels I've received but I am far from complaining. In fact, I'm excited to try all the scents and find my favourite. I got two amazing scented sets from Bayliss & Harding, one from my parents and one from John's mum. And on top of that John knows how much I love Tesco's Treaclemoon shower gels (which are cruelty free) and got me those too.
Being a student, I haven't been on a good old shopping trip for myself since August! So I was really excited to get some gift cards and money for Christmas to spend on myself. I haven't spent it all but I have spent some. I'm saving the rest for September when I need some stationery goodies or I see something I really like come out!
I also got two really lovely scarves this year. One from my parents and one from John's Dad. I love them both but I'm secretly favouring the big chunky grey and white scarf more at the moment from John's Dad. It's so comfy and perfect for the weather we're having right now. The other one will be lovely to wear to work and keep a little warmer indoors.
John knows how much I love pens and colouring so I was really excited to unwrap this set of Sharpies and Tolkien Colouring Book from John. It's extremely detailed so I'm really looking forward to getting into that, and the Sharpie's are any budding teacher's best friend. I'll need a pencil case for those alone! I also thought I'd mention this little hanging heart Ana gave me for my birthday which I forgot in my last haul that I wanted to share. It's super cute and goes well in my room with all my other hanging hearts. Thanks hun ♥
Clothing wise, I mentioned in my Birthday haul that you'd wanna see the outfit John picked out for me! He got me this gorgeous chequered skirt and khaki sweater that work so well together and was a little shocked when I asked if he picked it out himself! He's got pretty good taste in clothing and knows what suits me well. I can't wait to wear the combo together soon ♥
I also got this really pretty peacock feather printed bangle to match my necklace from my little brother. It's a little big at the moment but I need to find a way of bending it so it doesn't fall off my wrist every minute.
Also from John, he got me this gorgeous coat! John knows how I've been looking to get myself a coat with some padding and fur for a while so I was really happy to unwrap this. It's super comfy and I love the fur detailing.
This year John spoiled me rotten again buying me more gifts than he should of! But they haven't gone under appreciated especially since they've been so useful and thoughtful. The only thing I let onto though was that I wanted a new iPad case and he got me this pretty navy floral one that has made my iPad feel brand new too. It's so slim and smart and I've been using my iPad a lot more now that it's in a decent case. My last one's magnet was draining the battery as the iPad was constantly getting locked and unlocked so this was a very useful gift indeed.
Last but most definitely not least was this Sigma 70-300mm Macro lens for my Nikon D3300. Imagine the super shocked emoji face when I opened this bad boy up! I was so surprised and felt so lucky to get a new lens for my camera and can't wait to take it out for a test run already. I'm still learning how to use it and all the settings but I feel super professional with two lenses now.
All I can say now is thank you John and my family for all of my beautiful gifts and I feel really lucky to have such lovely things. I hope you guys liked taking a peek at my Christmas presents and if you haven't seen it yet, I posted my birthday presents previously too. Next up will be my Boxing Day shopping haul! I got some good bits I can't wait to share,
