What Cat Wore | Red Florals & Striped Tees

What Cat Says - What Cat Wore | Red Florals & Striped Tees

Printed trousers are the new must-have in my wardrobe. Not only are they smart and comfortable but they can also be fun and stylish - which is all the things I want in my day to day style. The last thing I ever want to do is be boring with my clothes! I bought these printed trousers from none other than Tesco the other day and I'm in love with them!

It sounds like a lot to want both colour and style alongside smart and appropriate work clothing, but if I'm dressing smart, I want to feel happy and confident too. I cannot begin to tell you how many interviews I went to wearing a boring smart black dress feeling really uncomfortable and not myself. I pretty much failed those interviews with flying colours - Ironic hey!?
I'm the sort of person whose personality oozes through their everyday style because my style definitely says a lot about the sort of person I am. (An odd and quirky, happy-go-lucky nutter) Being well dressed in the colours and prints that I like boosts my confidence massively and certainly makes me feel a lot happier and so much more comfortable. Because I get to be myself but still professional. This outfit is just one of the many I've put together to do just that.

So this is probably my new favourite clashing prints outfit ever. The prints compliment each other well and I think it's because of the florals are actually monochrome too. I absolutely love these trousers - they're so comfortable and with a simple tee it's really a banging outfit if I do say so myself! I'd probably style it differently when it gets colder and showcase here too. I'd love to see if my long waistcoat would work with this look too. So many different combinations! I love it!!

I'd love to know what your favourite outfit clash is. Tell me!

  2. I love this outfit so much! I think a long waistcoat would look so nice with black heels instead of pumps to class it up even more Cat! I love printed trousers too! I'd love a turquoise pair!
