What Cat Wore | Travel Wear

As you read this, I'm currently driving to the airport en route to Santorini! I'm so excited right now, and so happy to be finally going away somewhere lovely and warm for a well deserved break away. I did although quickly want to share with you what I'm wearing today because I love my outfit! Also, apologies for the odd colouring in the photos - I took them really late last night, and didn't get another chance to re-photograph. But I still want to share this look with you!

 

 

About a week ago I ended up on the Missguided website pretty much obsessing over these white ripped joggers yet again. I'd been on there a couple of times to oogle at them before but this time I had a discount code and was excited to see them in stock since they'd sold out once already! After trying them on when they arrived, I knew I would be wearing them today for travelling because they are sooooo comfortable! (Yes, that many O's was nessessary!) I'm the sort of girl that will take her shoes off and cross her legs on the plane, so I like to be comfy - especially if it's going to be a 4 hour flight...!

Struggling to think of a great, yet still comfortable outfit to put together, I settled for one of my favourite cropped tops to keep it simple and my new blue statement necklace from New Look just to add some detail.
Last but not least, knowing I wanted to take trainers away with me in case of a long walk or hike somewhere I decided to take my Nike Dart IX. They're a cheap pair from Sports Direct but I love them and they are super comfy!

Being a person that is well aware of the cold, I needed to take a jacket with me that would go with every outfit I have for holiday. I settled for my fringed PU jacket - not only for being lightweight but versatile too. I did think this combo with my sporty look looked a little weird at first, but I like the quirky feel it has. Maybe it's just the fringing that makes it odd. What are your thoughts?

I have also brought with me a jumper just in case... I get super cold on planes.
