What Cat Wore | Weekends

It's been a really long time since I tried anything quite daring with my outfits. Even down to subtly clashing stripes and florals like I am today. I forgot how much fun it was to try new combinations from the things I already have and mix up some new outfits with working clashing prints. I love this combination because it isn't too out there - it's subtle and it works.

After having a good old sort out through my wardrobe the other day, I rediscovered these shorts I bought last summer from Miss Selfridge. I love them for the shape but I am still unsure on the print and the colours. It's a weird love/hate relationship with these. Nevertheless, I really wanted to wear them today and decided to pair it up with a tee for a nice and easy early spring look. Normally these would be strictly summer shorts, but I really wanted to inject some summer pieces back into my outfits. I think I was inspired by the weather picking up!

It's date night tonight too, so I'll be heading out to see John soon. I plan on playing lots of Final Fantasy 7 and maybe watching some Netflix! I'm looking for new things to watch on there too - send me your recommendations. I've already watched Pretty Little Liars, Making A Murderer, Breaking Bad.. all the typical and popular ones.
