What Cat Wore | Blossom Print

Today we're talking about my Valentine's Day outfit. Sunday, I wore one of my favourite dresses. Favourite because it's probably the most comfortable, prettiest and practical skater dress I have in my wardrobe. This was also the outfit I wore to my first day at my new job. I still don't know why I didn't photograph it and post it earlier.

I bought this beautiful skater dress back in August just before I started my new job. I remember walking into Next and literally falling for this dress because the print was perfect and it has POCKETS! Pockets were a winner for me because in my job I knew I was going to need pockets to keep my essentials with me at all times. I mean, who doesn't need pockets!? A dress with pockets is always a winner. (How many times do I need to write pockets?)

Dress - Next / Bag - Urban Outfitters / Boots - Timberland

Though me and John didn't do anything for Valentine's Day, I woke up feeling in the spirit of this balloon and chocolate heart filled day, and I wanted to wear something cute and a little romantic. I wore the dress with my adorable little bag from Urban Oufitters and my wheat Timberland boots for a contrast and voila; I was ready to go! I think I achieved the look I was going for too. It's definitely my go to outfit for cute day dates or a smarter outfit for work.

On a side note, I feel the need to apologise for my lack of posts on my blog over this last weekend. Normally on a weekend and half term at that, my blog is always full of new blog posts and what I feel are my best ones given that I actually have the time to concentrate on my blog on those days. And I'm usually found enjoying the time I get sitting here at home, being able to generate my ideas into real posts, taking my photos and writing up new things. I know I've let myself down but I hope I haven't let my followers down with the lack of content over the last week. I've got lots coming up really soon ♥
