February Favourites

This month there's been a lot of taking time to myself and trying to get back into some good habits. I think my favourites this month definitely reflect those new choices and I'm looking forward to showing you what they are and why.

Millie Marotta's Tropical Wonderland Colouring Book

Millie Marotta's Tropical Wonderland Colouring Book - I was well on the adult colouring book band wagon last year when it took over the book shelves in our supermarkets and book stores. I have about 3-4 colouring books now, but none have had as much time spent on than my recent one by Millie Marotta. I mentioned this in my Happy Things #3 post, because it's been a great source of getting away from both my thoughts and reality. I've loved colouring in this book and once I start, I seriously can't stop. I like doing little themed colouring too. Ombré-ing colours are my favourite!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - In a bid to get back into a decent and beneficial skin care routine I've started making sure I use this both in the morning and before bed. I absolutely LOVE this stuff - it makes my skin feel great and sooo clean. I have noticed with both this and the Bioré Charcoal Pore Minimiser that my skin is probably 10x better than it has been any time in the last 2-3 years! Honestly - just LOVE IT ♥

Yoogaia - This month I took the plunge and finally subscribed to Yoogaia after my free trial ended. I enjoyed it so much during the free trial that I just had to sign up for longer. The best thing about this app/website is that you can practise your yoga any time you want to day or night. Live classes are there if you fancy taking one and getting some help from the instructors (which I haven't done yet - too scared). And there's everything from relaxing yoga to heart racing yoga. I love the variety and depending on how I'm feeling and how what I'm looking to get out of it, I know I can always find a good class to take.

Maybelline The Falsie's Push-Up Drama Mascara

Maybelline The Falsie's Push-Up Drama Mascara - This mascara has definitely trumped all mascaras I've ever had. It's simply amazing. I bought this mid January and after falling head over heels for it, it seems to always be the one I go for when I want a dramatic, voluminous and lengthening lash look! It does everything I wish a mascara to do, and being a girl who's totally over the high maintenance of false lashes, this mascara does wonders to create a great false lash look. Just as it says it would. Totally recommend this one if you haven't tried it yet!

ASOS Vintage Print Blouse

ASOS Vintage Print Blouse -  I'll be honest, this month I haven't worn this blouse a lot but I love this blouse simply for all that it is. It's been a while since I loved new clothes properly. When I worked in retail I was always buying new stuff almost every week/month and I stopped loving my new pieces so much because they didn't feel super-new and special. Now I'm not working in retail - shopping is a special thing to do again, and I love buying new pieces that I'm going to love for longer than a season. I know this blouse is one of them - because I'm still obsessing over it 2 months later... Longer than I have about any new piece of clothing in the last four years!
I love the print on this blouse, the way it feels when its on and the shape it just gorgeous. It feels like one of those effortless blouses you know? Pop a pair of jeans on and your ready to go. I'm still looking for new ways to wear this blouse because I want to wear it so much more often. But I'm happy styling it with jeans for now - maybe some shorts in the summer... Oooh. ♥
