Benefit Haul

Errrr... Oops?
It's not often I decide to spend some money on some decent high end make up, but after getting my brows done at Benefit's Brow Bar in Watford and eyeing up a few products I made a couple of purchases. It's not the biggest haul but high end make up isn't really affordable to me, so it's quite a lot for me. Carry on reading to see what I got and my thoughts! ♥

So first up I knew I wanted a new concealer. I'm sick of dark circles and concealers that dry my skin up so I needed something new. After speaking to one of the Benebabes, she recommended Fake Up in 01 Light for me. It's a hydrating crease controlling concealer, and after using it only twice I am loving it. The hydrating ring around the concealer feels so lovely and smooth on the skin and it's very brightening! It's not the most highest coverage concealer, but as long as it brightens the skin under my eyes and doesn't accentuate my dark circles, I'm happy. I also love that hydrating ring, helping avoid my dry skin problem!

The Gimmie Brow * was free with my Brow Wax, and after trying it a couple of times now too, I've grown to love it for the tiny and easy applicator brush and great colour. She recommended I go for medium/dark which is a perfect match, and though I'm one to fill in my eyebrows these days I could easily just wear this on my brows for a more natural look. Definitely a brow product I'll be enjoying for a while and I just cant get over how lovely it is to apply!

Last but not least in my mini haul, I have one of their gorgeous lips and cheeks kits! I went for the Sugarlicious kit as I often enjoy a neutral make up look day to day, and I was won over by that Sugarbomb blush which I absolutely love for that mix of corals and pinks. I thought this would be really great to try out some new benefit products without buying lots of full sized products, as well as to travel with. It saves carrying excessive lip and cheek products!
I've already got Sun Beam, so I knew I would like High Beam and I did always want to try the Bene Tint which I'm still yet to try. And the Sugarbomb lip gloss is the only thing I didn't expect to like - but I do! The lip gloss isn't your usual gloss that slides around everywhere and you don't need lots too. I don't like lip glosses at all, but I do like this one!

So that concludes my haul but before I end this I wanted mention one more thing: the Benefit Brow Bar and how spot on and enjoyable the experience with them is! I've always had my brows threaded but after my first visit and experience at the Brow Bar, I am now a loyal Benefit Brow Bar customer. They're always so lovely, chatty and do such a great job making sure you're getting exactly what you want with your brows. And this time 100% of the profits made from my brow wax are going to charities supporting women and girls in their Bold Is Beautiful Project. Not only did I feel good knowing that, but I got the full sized Gimmie Brow for free! Good huh? I'd definitely recommend visiting the brow bar. So worth the money!

I'm really interested in investing in more Benefit products. Is there anything I should definitely be trying out?
