January Favourites

This month I'm loving a whole bunch of randoms. From new iPad & iPhone protection to books, make up and fluffy bags! I've really been noticing my favourites too, picking them up every 5 minutes and admiring them lots. This month I've discovered a love for mock croc, blues and neutral make up looks and it really shows in my favourites.

So my old iPad case was pretty beat up and the last life line was taken when I spilt a little foundation on it, being fabric it was hard to get off so I thought it was time for a new case! I picked up this turquoise mock croc iPad case from Amazon and I love it! It swivels so I can sit it up both ways, being PU is easily cleaned if I had another spillage and it just looks super cute and stylish really!
I also bought two new iPhone cases from eBay (together for 99p!!!) after getting really bored of all my old ones and I'm really loving their simpleness with the pretty gold trim detailing. I might have to get them in a couple more colours now too! But I can't lie, the navy iPhone case is my favourite over the turquoise right now.
In my bag I've been carrying round this book my brother got me for Christmas called 'Read This If You Want To Take Great Photographs'. It's the best most casual how to book to read and I've learnt a lot about photography with it already! I'll be honest and say I've not taken any of it into practise yet, but eventually I will and I will take great photographs!

This month I'm in love with Nivea's skincare. I've never been let down by them, and they're still keeping me hooked with this Cleansing Milk and Express Hydration Primer. I suffer from quite dry skin on my face and especially on my eyelids so when it came to a facial cleanser, I wanted something that suited sensitive skin but was okay to use around the eyes as most products I picked up mentioned keep away from eyes. This has definitely kept my dry skin away and I love it, I'd definitely recommend it and it feels amazing on the skin too! As for the Express Hydration Primer, again great for the skin, keeping hydrated and your make up in place all at once! I've loved this and use it everyday. Hooray for happy hydrated face skin!

My make up loves are a mix of old and new products this month. And of course my brand new and favourite palette of them all is my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! I can't get enough of this and along with the Urban Decay Eye Primer that came along with it, I've been having some pretty awesome make up days. I've used every colour and I don't have a favourite yet, but I'm just obsessed with it. Best palette ever. New things in my make up box are the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture So Black which creates an amazing look giving full black lashes with the look of more single lashes! I adore this mascara and though I do try to chop and change since I have so many I can't help but come back to this one. Also new is the L'Oreal True Match Concealer in Vanilla. I love the Rimmel Wake Me Up, but this one has replaced it for a little bit. I love the way it feels on and it really brightens up my eyes covering any dark circles really easily. I'm really weird when it comes to concealers but I'm really loving this one at the moment and though it is a tiny bottle, it is mighty! The last new product I have is the Essie Nail Polish in Aruba Blue. I only bought this a week ago but omg, I love it. It covers perfectly and vividly in two coats and it's just the pretty metallic blue colour that I've been looking for. I'm seriously obsessed with my blues and I can see a new blue nail polish collection coming into my life soon!
This month, I am re-loving the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent. Okay, re-loving is not the one, but always loving is. I broke my old one after I hit pan a couple of weeks ago and just had to go out and re-purchase my forth tin... It's a standard love and perfect must have in anyone's make up bag.
The Sleek Eyebrow Kit is a continuing favourite this month. I've been loving this so much and I just thank it for keeping my brows looking like they have game even when they're not. And after getting bored of the same blusher earlier on this month I rediscovered the ease of this Topshop Blush in Head Over Heels. It's so easy to apply with fingers and leaves a pretty subtle blush. Great for lazy mornings like all the ones I've been having recently!

Lastly my fashion favourites and I have to give huge credit to these two this month! My River Island mock croc navy skirt, which has been making its way into outfits at least once every week, and my newest fur clutch bag that I can't let go of.
I've been wearing this skirt so much this month and I can't get over how much I love it! It works with everything I'm into at the moment and I love the fabric and texture. I'm trying to stay away from the River Island website because I just know I'll find it in more colours, or the same shape in more fabrics (and they do...! Oh no!) It's everything about this skirt - it's just all I want to wear all the bloody time!
As for my beautiful keep-warm bag... It's an evening or going out bag and I'm using it as an everyday bag because I can't get enough of it... and *ehem* all the compliments I'm getting about it. It's so OTT and it's so me! It's exactly what I needed in my bag collection and yes it is a bit big and really ridiculously fluffy and probably the most silliest everyday bag but, hey ho - I've got warm hands and a cute bag! Fashion over practicality RN.

I really think I'll be loving most of these all the way through February too. It's not often my favourites soldier through another month because I love to switch things around so often, especially as I'm using most of these everyday! What's your favourites this month?
