What Makes Me Happy Today

Recently, I've really been thinking about what makes me happy. From the big things to the little things, and how they make you smile, and the worst days just a little better. It's always the little things on bad days, and the ones we take for granted. But that doesn't mean we forget those big important ones - they're the big stones in that life jar with the sand (little things) filling the cracks! (Comment life jar if you know what I'm referencing!)
So what makes me happy right now?

Perfect cups of tea. Because on a bad day, a perfectly made tea can make my day just that little bit brighter, because it's something to really take in and enjoy.
Fleece blankets. There's something about fleece... It's my favourite fabric in the winter and probably because it doesn't matter how cold it gets, my fleece blanket is never too cold to get into, and instantly warming. Fleece onesie this year please?
Christmas spirit. And with this in mind and Christmas hitting the shops, I can just hear the Coca-Cola theme tune for Christmas... Holidays are coming, holidays are coming. It makes me feel all warm inside and excited for possibly my most favourite time of year!
Frozen Free Fall. This is one of those games you don't need an internet connection to play so on my lunch hours it's my escape until I run out of lives! It's really irritating that so many games need an internet connection to play, because if it didn't I would probably play them more!
Chai Latte. This is my Costa Coffee order right now, and I know most of your bloggers are Starbucks girls but I've always been closer to a Costa and I love their Chai Lattes! The spice, the sweetness that means it needs no sugar. And when they top it off with cinnamon.... Mmmmm.
My Boyfriend. John makes me happy 1000% of the time all the time. Just a little text or one of his squeezy man cuddles in enough to make me smile. I love that we've pre-planned Christmas a little this year too, from shopping trips to limits and I actually know what I'm getting him his year! John if you're reading this, I'm not telling you and don't try to guess!
In 6 months I'll have a new bedroom. Now I haven't really mentioned this before but about a year ago, my dad started the planning to get our house done up. It's going to take a while and it was supposed to start mid way through this year, but in January the work starts and I'll be moving out from my current shared bedroom to my own one! I know exactly how I'm going to decorate it and I'm already looking at what I'll be buying for my dream room! It's a big deal for me because I've shared a room for a really long time and being 25 by the end of the year it's going to be amazing to finally have my own space during adult life - well before moving out of course!
My Little Box. I never gave into a subscription box though I have been at the checkout pages of many throughout the year. I never really felt the 100% commitment to any of them until My Little Box came along! You can read all about my first subscription box, which was also the first available to us Brits as they're a French company and I've just received my second one which is inspired by New York designer Diane Von Furstenberg! It's a beauty/fashion/lifestyle box with a great monthly price, I couldn't resist and I won't be unsubscribing any time soon! They're amazing!
My Job. Yes, my job! I've really been enjoying my new job that I've been in for 2 months now and I can feel in my mind and in my heart this was the best move I made. I'm so happy there and I work with some lovely people. And though my work isn't something I'll ever want to talk about on my blog, I love it and I feel it needs a little spot in this post because it does make me happy right now. I feel a sense of achievement right now and like it could only go up from here. I hope it does :)
YOU. Yes you reading this. Because you are here reading this! I love being a blogger and any bonuses that come with it! I just want to share the things I want to share and I love that I have a fair few of you here reading the things I spend sometimes hours writing. It makes it all worth while if you comment or follow or like a post on bloglovin' because you guys make me happy just by being here! Thank you for making my blog a happier place for me to enjoy!

Share what makes you happy right now. It might be something small or big but no matter how crappy life can get even the smallest thing can make the world a little brighter, even if it is just a perfect cup of tea or a smile from a stranger.
