Towards the end of the day yesterday, it got a little bit gloomy. And to no surprise this morning as London wakes up to rain. I'd only got dressed for my dinner date with John late afternoon, so I really cut it fine for some outfit photos, but managed them in the end! Yes it's a bit gloomy, but I'm not a huge fan of photo editing as a prefer a natural photograph to a edited one 95% of the time.
I got this beautiful shift dress from Glamorous through the post the other day with another one (to be featured soon), and I was so excited to wear it out! I was worried the shape wouldn't suit me since most of my dresses are cinched in at the waist, but I was so happy with how it looked when I popped it on, and bought it was really flattering. I love the contrasting Peter Pan collar and the colour on the dress is just beautiful with hints of blue and purple running through the vivid green jungle print.
It's a simple dress and so easy to wear being perfect for nights out as well as days out. I had a little problem when putting his together, as I barely have anything to throw over any cute dress or outfit. And I need to seriously think about an investment in a couple of cardigans, waistcoats and jackets!

I think next time I'm going to pop a necklace under the collar for a little more detail, but I think we'll be seeing me wear this a lot this spring/summer!
