Sunday was a day for comfort and style. My ankles may have been a little cold, but it was worth it to wear my favourite trousers again. I love the fit, as well as the check print and the fact that they are so versatile. I wear them very casually but I could easily smarten them up for any occasion. I don't often suit trousers too, but these do, so I've been smitten for these since the day I tried them on!
I paired them with my newest favourite jumper! I bought this beaut from Primark early November, and I've almost worn this in every way possible. It's great for layering, and I'm yet to try it under a dress or with a shirt underneath. For a little upper detail, I added a necklace I got for my birthday a few years back, and on the feet: pumps for a subtle print clash; I'm not yet ready for a big print clash!
The fringe has been swept back quite often recently, I've been pinning it back for a cute quiff or sweeping it to the side for a little difference. This time I'd hair sprayed it back pin-less (the way it was when I woke up) and did a messy plait which I found beyond difficult to photograph alone. I loved this experimental hairstyle so much I may have to attempt it again soon. Maybe that time I will photograph it properly.
I'm getting really excited, now that it's my favourite month of the year. Christmas trees are up both at home and at the boyfriends, the advent calendar is counting down the days, and we're having Christmas Jumper Day at work on Friday to support the NSPCC :) Christmas is coming into full swing now! Have you got anything Christamassy happening at the moment?
