Earlier on in the week I was excited to be kindly gifted a much long-lusted-for, and beautiful Casio watch by the people at The Watch Hut. When it arrived, I waited no time at all to put it on and I've fallen in love with my new watch. The beautiful retro silver watch with a burgundy face is just perfect with it's simplicity and versatility. It's gorgeous silver colour matches all my jewellery works perfectly for everyday outfits. I always loved a digital too, for impeccable time keeping every day! My mum also informed me that she had one exactly the same, colour and all when she was about 11 or 12 years old. She loves it, and I think she may be a little jealous! Hehe!

I've been attempting to step on the edges of my style box recently, by trying new styles and colours. I would never really go for yellow, but I was always drawn to this this mustard/olive coloured midi skirt from Topshop. It's such a strange shade, but I love it and I love the style of the skirt. I've always preferred skater styled midis, so this was a mini investment from the sale at £15... plus a cheeky staff discount! The double splits just add so much more to it, and I can't wait to see how many different ways I can wear this. It's the sort of skirt that works all year round.  I will say although... It's a creaser. I dislike a creaser but this is an exception as it is too beautiful to dislike. I'll deal with it!
This time I thought I would brighten up the day with my lovely tropical floral cami I got from a charity shop not so long ago. I love the colour contrast, and that it works so well with the colour of the skirt, and of course it being autumn, I added tights with my trusty chelsea boots and my newest cardigan from Dorothy Perkins.
Dorothy Perkins has a lot of lovely stuff this Autumn/Winter and I keep eyeing up all their pretty knitwear and skirts. I bought this cardigan on my uniform and I love the contrast in textures. You can't see in the photo, but if you click on the link you can see what I mean. The fluffy body with the chunky knit sleeves make any outfit look comfortable and on trend!

It's getting really cold now isn't it? I'm going to make a cup of tea, change into my comfy PJs and geek it up on Final Fantasy 10. That's my Sunday evening sorted. Anyone else familiar with the game?
